James in the newest member of the firm, and the youngest person ever to be offered membership in the firm.  James grew up in Evanston, Wyoming, and received his undergraduate and law school education at the University of Wyoming.  During law school, he served as an extern law clerk for the Hon. Justice William A. Taylor, and as an intern in the Prosecution Assistance Program, where he drafted multiple appellate briefs and argued several times before the Wyoming State Supreme Court.  After law school he served as the law clerk for the District Court for the First Judicial District here in Cheyenne.
 
Since joining the firm as an associate in 2000, he has been involved with and overseen a broad range of litigation.  James concentrates his practice in the areas of professional liability defense, products liability defense, personal injury defense, insurance and bad faith litigation, commercial litigation, and other civil litigation.  He practices in all of the Federal and State Courts in Wyoming and is admitted to practice in the Federal Court in the District of Colorado and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.  He is a member of the State and County Bar Associations, and the Defense Research Institute. 

James and his wife Sunny have two young children.
